Performance Review
Performance appraisals and reviews are an essential form of communication between a manager and their reports in regards to employee performance. By understanding how a member of their team is performing, a leader can plan any required development or reward them for their performance. In most organisations, performance appraisals are based on the results of evaluating the individual’s performance against predetermined KPIs and targets. The value of identifying these results cannot be underestimated, however imagine if you could understand how the individuals behaviours affect their performance and work to change these behaviours to achieve more positive outcomes.
This idea is not as farfetched as you might think. Profiles International has been working with clients for many years to identify what thinking styles, behaviours and occupational interests are required to succeed in roles within their organisation. Benchmarking these attributes, enables these businesses to review the performance of their staff not only in relation to their activities and outcomes but also in regards to how and why the individual performed in the manner they did.
